These services include quality checking all in-bound raw ingredients; creating and matching formulas; running in-process and finished good tests through our lab and quality team; batching a wide variety of products; filling a wide variety of components; labeling products with our HP Indigo printer; and packing out the order by blister, shrink wrap, bulk packaging, or customized packaging.
Every year, our facility is audited by the Food and Drug Administration and numerous third parties, including Oregon Tilth (our organic product certifier). We also understand the importance of adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), which has contributed to the good standing we’ve maintained after every audit. In addition, we have roughly 500 standard operating procedures (SOPs) that we follow to ensure that we consistently produce the highest quality products possible. The fact that we work in a state-of-the-art facility also speaks to the value we place on a high quality environment to carry out our regulated processes.
We understand that quality raw ingredients lead to quality products. Raining Rose tests every raw material and component when it enters our facility to ensure the highest quality start. In-house, our finished good testing ranges from organoleptic and color matching to FTIR (Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy). We partner with third-party accredited labs for certifications, micro testing, SPF, etc.
Raining Rose offers clients a state-of-the-art facility and a great deal of flexibility when it comes to types of products we can produce. We currently manufacture lip balms, lotions, sunscreens, beard products, and more, for which we’ve become an industry expert. We remain as flexible as possible in regard to product timelines, understanding there are certain deadlines that have to be met in order to keep a project on track. We communicate this importance to each client and view our relationship as a partnership that requires the commitment of both parties. For more information about process and compliance, refer to our manufacturing standards and customer compliance document.
Raining Rose offers both a private label option and fully customized products. In either case, we’re able to create products like deep moisturizing hand creams, lip balms, lotions, men’s shave creams, body balms, beard balms, beard oils, aftershaves, shampoos, conditioners, and face serums. You can learn about the steps involved for each option on the private label and custom products page, respectfully. Our product guide also outlines many of the products we offer for private label.
Each of our clients has access to different members of our team to provide holistic support of their project. The sales representative serves as a source of strategy, the customer project coordinator provides hands-on help during product development, and the sales assistant maintains contact on a day-to-day basis once the product hits production. Each client’s sales representative and sales assistant are there for the life of the relationship, with the customer project coordinator available from project idea to first production run. As needed throughout the process, our customers also receive the support of our full R&D staff, engineering team (so that it runs properly on the line), quality and regulation team (so that claims are accurately met and labels reflect what’s in the product), and production and packaging staff.
