Quality

Raining Rose adheres to a Quality Management System that houses a number of checks and balances, with processes in place to create safe products and maintain quality. We require our raw material suppliers to provide a Certificate of Analysis for each lot that is delivered in addition our Quality team samples and tests each receipt of ingredients. In addition packaging is reviewed for compliance by Quality and internal Regulatory. Before any product ships, each batch is evaluated and tested before release to ensure our products are consistently made with the quality we value.

GMPs (good manufacturing practices) are followed throughout the processing floor. SOPs (standard operating procedures), are created and published for processes to for employees to be trained correctly and manufacture consistent products. We train our employees to follow these safe practices and emphasize the importance of complying with them to maintain the integrity of each product. We also keep department-specific documents, including batch records and fill records. All of these enable us to be FDA- compliant for cosmetic and drug (OTC – Over-the-Counter) manufacturing. To confirm our compliance, we are annually audited and certified according to ISO 22716 Cosmetic GMPs and host multiple customer audits.

Testing is assigned to each formula depending on the unique formula. Organoleptic (Sensory) testing is completed on all products. Additional tests are required as appropriate to support any specific claims, such as gluten free or sunscreen actives. In each case, our experienced team is on hand to make sure every batch is compliant with ingredient claims and labeling requirements. This means we are evaluating and releasing on average over 300 batches each month. No matter what the size of the batch, they are treated the same in Quality.
